Wanna do something between midday and 5 pm? -- People sleeps between this hours in most cities of Uruguay, specially the ones in the northern places (in spanish this thing is called "siesta" and means to sleep after have lunch). Also many shops are close !!!
The Spain’s Cultural Center in Montevideo is a nice place to make a break in a walk across the center of the capital of Uruguay. The building previously was the famous commercial establishment ‘Casa Mojana’ —hardware store, glassware, locksmithing, papers and bazaar—. In its last floor is placed the coffeeshop, a beautiful place to have lunch and rest rest surrounded from culture.
