San Francisco » Tips: Muni pass
cool and fair

Either if you're staying 1 or several days just buy a Munipass for the amount of time you are going to be in San Francisco and use the public transport as much as you can. Buses, BART (subway), trams, etc. Well worth the money.

San Francisco » Eating & Drinking: Encore cafe
cool and fair

Nice little, quiet cafe with free WiFi. Very close to Union Square, Cable Car tram is also one street away.

Cambridge » Eating & Drinking: Manna Mexico
cool and fair

Nice mexican food place. My favourite is chicken quesadillas + jalapenos + guacamole + can of Coke: 5,60 pounds.

The place is rather small, although there are about 6 tall chairs so you can have your food there. You can ask for takeaway too.

Paris » Sleeping: Hotel Palmon Opera
cool and fair

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days in 2007 and it's ok. Nothing really fancy, but rather clean. It's expensive, but everything in Paris is, so that's why i tag it "fair".

Location is really, really handy. Within walking distance from Gare du Nord, Montmartre and Place de l'Opera. Bus number 46 passes by the same street and you appreciate that A LOT after a whole day walking.

They speak at least Spanish and English (besides French, of course).

Cambridge » Eating & Drinking: Soultree
cool and fair

There aren't that many places in Cambridge, so chances are you are going to the Soultree. Nice place but go on a Saturday unless you like funky, then go on a Friday.

It's rather empty before 12, so don't bother.

Wells next the Sea » Highlights: The beach
cool and free

Well-next-the-sea has an amazing beach! Once you are there just ask for "the beach with the huts":

The amazing thing is that it's a marsh and when the tide goes back you realize the actual coast line is like 1km away and you end up walking in the same place you were swimming in the morning. Awesome.

Cambridge » Eating & Drinking: Teri-Aki
cool and fair

Teri-Aki is a really nice Japanese restaurant. A whole range of shusi, maki, tempura, noodles, etc. I totally recommend Teri-Aki maki which is a HUGE maki roll you can barely fit in your mouth. Ummm.......

About a year ago Teri-Aki bought the premises just by its side and created Aki-Teri, which is exactly the same thing but with a mirrored-name. You have to see it.
