If you have time, take a tour inside the puntigamer factory, in the south of the city. You can get there by tram, line 1 untill the end of the line. You can take a tour for around 5 or 6 euros, and is included 1 hour of free beer and a gulasch soup in the factory's restaurant with an extra beer

Inside the University Zone, cheap place to eat pizza and salat. The give you a paper with all of the possible ingredients and you make crosses where you want. Typical student restaurant. In summer, it have a really nice terrace.
In the middle of the Mur (The river that goes across the city) there is an artificial metal island, where you can take a coffe inside it.
beautiful and really cheap place to have lunch or dinner if you are in graz. There are at least 6 or 7 different restaurant for all over the city. There you can have typical austrian food.
